The Gladstone Theatre regulary acts as a
venue for the staging of amateur and professional productions of all types.
We also host rehearsals, meetings and corporate presentations.
The Theatre Trust offers a full range of
facilities to prospective clients:
- 455 fixed, tilting seats plus 4 wheelchair
spaces.
- 20ft. x 20ft. visible main stage with, 26ft. x 10ft. front apron
(convertible to orchestra pit).
- Full overhead lighting rigging .
- xxKW public address system, with radio
microphones and CD/Audio tape sound effects.
- Raised, back-of-theatre lighting and
sound control room - with light and audio mixing desks.
- Headset intercom system linking control
room with backstage and stage management.
- Audio induction loop for the hard of
hearing.
- 4 - 5 dressing rooms, plus green room.
- On-site set building workshop space.
Front- and Backstage staff:
- Lighting, sound and electrical
technicians.
- Stage management and stage hands.
- First Aid, Fire, Auditorium Stewards and House Management.
